MAIL IN BALLOTS
Mail-in-ballot Application
Absentee ballot Request
Not going to make it to the polling location on Election Day, but still want to vote? In Pennsylvania there are now two options which allow you to vote by mail. In order to request either an Absentee Ballot or a Mail-In ballot, you must be a registered voter.
Deadline to apply for an Absentee/Mail-In-Ballot for the Primary Election on May 20, 2025 is:
MAY 13
Some people are concerned that their completed ballot might get lost in the mail. You can personally deliver your mail-in-ballot to the Board of Elections which is located in the Bucks County Court House:
55 E. Court St. Doylestown, PA 18901
(Closed 10/14/24)
215-348-6154
Have a family member that needs to register to vote or change their party affiliation? The last day to register to vote or change your party affiliation before the Primary Election on May 20, 2025 is:
MAY 5, 2025
Should you decide to vote in person instead of mailing back your ballot, PLEASE BRING THE WHOLE UNOPENED PACKET WITH YOU TO THE POLLING PLACE. This Mail-in/Absentee ballot needs to be voided in order for you to vote in person. Make sure that the election worker writes "Spoiled" or "Void" on your unused ballot.
When you click the Vote by Mail link above you have two options. You can print a paper application, fill it in & sign it. Our District is 7 and our Municipality is Newtown Twp. The Ward space can be left blank. Mail your application to:
Bucks County Board of Elections
55 E. Court St
Doylestown, PA 18901
The other option is to apply for a Mail-in/Absentee ballot online and submit it. You will receive emails as to when the application has been processed, ballot sent & when the completed ballot was received by the Board of Elections. Please encourage members of your household that have a tendency not to vote to use this method. No postage required!
Regardless of how you apply for a Mail-in ballot or Absentee, the ballot that you receive to vote will have prepaid postage.
